The bivariate model includes only one scale; the multivariable model simultaneously includes all eight scales and age; overall, deviance tests provided values close to 1.00, thereby suggesting that there were no problems with under- or overdispersion (range of values for the three models: Dutch: 1.06–1.13; Moroccan: 1.01–1.37; Surinamese/Antillean: 1.09–1.29; Mixed Origin: 1.02–1.22); italicised values are significant at p < .05
